In the scenic Apaneca Elmapetique mountain range of El Salvador, in the heart of one of the finest specialty coffee producing regions in Central America, you'll find the Alfaro family farm, which has been growing coffee for a century. 

60% of the coffee cherry trees there grow slowly in shade and age more slowly, which helps the coffee cherries ripen evenly. It also helps intensify the coffee's natural sugars and enhance its aroma, making it taste great after roasting.
